I have been going to the Southwest Regional Wound Care Center here in Lubbock since last fall, for treatment of a large wound in my leg, which was the result of cancer surgery and the removal of a major muscle in my thigh. I have been under the care of Dr. Joe Wolcott and I cannot say enough good about this doctor and this Center. Dr. Wolcott is amazing – professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind and friendly, with a delightful low key personality. He has been so attentive and so positive and encouraging all through the long management of this big wound, and the end is finally in sight and he is encouraging me that soon the wound will completely close. He has used some state of the art techniques on this wound, including skin grafting with placental tissue, laser treatments, and antibiotic and cellular growth stimulating products which are applied each week inside this wound. The entire staff at the Center are amazing and the friendliness, caring, and expertise of each of the ones I’ve had contact with, simply continues to amaze me. I have recommended Dr. Wolcott and the Center to many of my acquaintances, and to the physical therapists at the PT center where I’ve also been going.
